Who is behind MinWage Check
Radif Partners
Independent publisher of free pay checkers for workers in the United Kingdom: minimum wage by age, apprentice rate, deductions and the April 2027 rise
MinWage Check is published by Radif Partners, a company that builds free tools on public rules and public data. This site is for workers in the United Kingdom, and for the people who help them, who want to know in a minute whether a payslip meets the legal minimum, what changes on 1 April and what to do when it does not.
What the site does
It finds the legal rate for an age, an apprenticeship and a date, checks the pay of one pay period the way HMRC does (premiums and tips left out, uniform costs and salary sacrifice taken off, the accommodation offset applied), turns hourly rates into weekly, monthly and yearly pay, and works out arrears. Each page has its own checker. Everything is free, needs no account, and what you type stays in your browser.
Where the rules come from
From primary sources only: the National Minimum Wage Act 1998 and Regulations 2015 on legislation.gov.uk, the rates and guidance on GOV.UK, HMRC's guidance on calculating the minimum wage, the Low Pay Commission's reports and recommendations, and Acas for its helpline. Every page links to the texts behind it. The method page explains each calculation.
What we are not
We are not HMRC, the Fair Work Agency, the Low Pay Commission, Acas, GOV.UK, a union, a law firm or a payroll provider. We cannot see your pay records, contact your employer or take a complaint. The results are estimates from what you enter: HMRC, a tribunal or a court decides. The site uses no official logo or crest.
How the site is paid for
The site sells no service, takes no commission, collects no contact details and recommends no firm, union or adviser. If advertising is added one day, it will never sit inside a checker, and it cannot use what you type, which never leaves your browser.
Tell us when something is wrong
Write to contact@minwagecheck.co.uk with the page and the figure, ideally with a link to the official text. The editorial policy explains how a correction is made and dated. The site has 44 pages of guides and checkers.
